Engagement photos at a brewery in downtown Charleston, WV

Courtney and Dakota drove from over 6 hours to shoot with me in downtown Charleston. They were so cute and Courtney is hilarious so it felt like hanging out with old friends.

After a two month break, I dusted off my camera and headed downtown in late December to meet C+J for their complimentary engagement session that came with their wedding package (shameless plug lol!) We started at Short Story Brewery to escape the frigid temps outside and got warmed up with a beer and lots of belly laughs. We then made our way outside for some cute shots downtown plus a fun bonus of a festive alleyway.

I’m so stoked for their wedding later in 2024 and will try to comeback and update this blog when I get to share something fun!
