A courthouse microwedding in West Virginia

For about a year, on most of my IG posts I’d always see a similar notification- “Charlee liked your post.” I was always thinking “who is this Charlee girl- I’m obsessed with her red hair!” Eventually, an inquiry came through from Charlee that was so incredibly detailed, kind, and full of heart, I just knew that she and I would click.

We captured Charlee and Zach’s microwedding (minimony?) at the courthouse in Fairmont, WV, inside the courtroom named after her late father and former judge. It was sweet, full of tears, and honestly such a privilege to be the ones to document this day.

After the courthouse cleared out, Charlee had one goal- kick her heels up and eat a croissant. So we did just that.
